As per All India Council for Technical Education guidelines, 

1. To prevent and prohibit Ragging in technical institutions
2. To ensure transparency in imparting technical education, in admissions and to prevent unfair practices and to provide a mechanism for grievance redressal
3. To prevent, prohibit and redress sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher education institutions
4. To promote the special interests of students in the reserved category  where the students experience difficulties

various committees like Anti-ragging committee, Grievance redressal committee, Internal compliant committee and the Committee for SC/ST are formed by the institute.
