TSM began its journey with Executive Development Programs, and in 1972, it started offering a part-time MBA program affiliated with Madurai Kamaraj University. In 1986, the institute launched its full-time MBA program, followed by the full-time MCA program in 1994, and AICTE approved PGDM Program in 2011 with a sanctioned intake of 60, which was increased to 120 in 2013. The institute relocated to its current campus in 1998, providing students with a lush, green 17-acre campus.
The institute’s PGDM program received its First NBA accreditation in 2015, followed by ‘equivalence to MBA’ by Association of Indian Universities (AIU). In 2020, the PGDM program was recognized as a standalone institution under the name “Thiagarajar School of Business.” TSB has established itself as a respected institution that transforms students into role-ready professionals in a transparent, ethical environment.
